
O-dition Final Five Announced!

After listening attentively to the voice tests of more than 400 entrants and travelling 2 840 kilometres to eight cities in four provinces, the OFM O-dition voice talent search enters its final phase.
The panel of judges has selected five finalists, who will vie for the grand prize worth R50 000, which includes: R10 000 cash, a laptop, a media practitioner broadcast kit, a three-month presenter contract and mentorship from OFM’s current presenters.
Our five lucky finalists will showcase their presenting talent live on air 1 -3 March 2023.
They are:
- Michael Ndabandaba (26) from Klerksdorp, who will be joining Nico van der Westhuizen and the team on the Joyride (15:00 – 18:00) on Wednesday 1 March.
- Anny Bruyns (37) from Bloemfontein will be broadcasting along with Yolanda Maartens on Mid-Morning Magic (09:00 – 12:00) on Thursday 2 March.
- Janrie de Lange (28) from Welkom will join Pulane Nel-Sekepe in the studio during At Lunch (12:00 – 15:00) also on Thursday 2 March.
- Cavall Burgess (45) from Kimberley, who will be joining Yolanda Maartens on Mid-Morning Magic (09:00 – 12:00) on Friday 3 March.
- Tatum Williams (31) from Bloemfontein will join Pulane Nel-Sekepe in the studio during At Lunch (12:00 – 15:00) on Friday 3 March.
OFM Programme Manager Tim Thabethe says the O-dition is a gesture and opportunity to offer someone the chance at a career in media, which they may have always dreamed of.
“OFM took the time to travel Central South Africa extensively to find the person who would ultimately be the next voice on OFM, and the journey to find this individual was very rewarding.”
On Friday 3 March, from 15:00, OFM’s listeners will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite O-dition presenter through our Telegram channel. Voting will end at 23:59 on Monday 6 March.
The winner will be announced in the Good Morning Breakfast Show (06:00 – 09:00) on Wednesday 8 March 2023.

Nadat ons aandagtig na die stemtoetse van meer as 400 deelnemers geluister het, en 2 840 kilometer na agt stede in vier provinsies gereis het, betree die OFM O-disie stemtalentsoektog sy finale fase.
Die paneel van beoordelaars het vyf finaliste gekies, wat sal meeding vir die groot prys ter waarde van R50 000, wat die volgende insluit: R10 000 kontant, ‘n skootrekenaar, ‘n mediapraktisyn-uitsaaistel, ‘n drie maande lange aanbiederskontrak en mentorskap van OFM se huidige aanbieders.
Ons vyf gelukkige finaliste sal van 1 tot 3 Maart 2023 hul aanbiederstalent regstreeks op die lug vertoon.

- Janrie de Lange (28) van Welkom, wat tydens At Lunch (12:00 – 15:00), ook op Donderdag 2 Maart, saam met Pulane Nel-Sekepe in die ateljee gaan kuier.
- Cavall Burgess (45) van Kimberley, wat op Vrydag 3 Maart saam met Yolanda Maartens op Mid-Morning Magic (09:00 – 12:00) sal uitsaai.
- Tatum Williams (31) van Bloemfontein, wat tydens At Lunch (12:00 – 15:00), op Vrydag 3 Maart, saam met Pulane Nel-Sekepe in die ateljee gaan kuier.
OFM-programbestuurder Tim Thabethe sê die O-disie is ‘n geleentheid om iemand die kans te bied op ‘n loopbaan in media te begin, waarvan hulle dalk nog net altyd gedroom het.
“OFM het die tyd spandeer om regdeur Sentraal-Suid-Afrika te reis om die persoon te vind wat uiteindelik die volgende stem op OFM sal wees, en die reis om hierdie individu te vind was baie lonend.”
Op Vrydag 3 Maart, vanaf 15:00 kry OFM se luisteraars die geleentheid om vir hul gunsteling O-odisie-aanbieder te stem deur ons Telegram-kanaal. Stemme sluit om 23:59 op Maandag 6 Maart.
