Vacancy – Account Executive: Corporate Branding

The following position has become vacant within Redstar Agency, Central South Africa’s premier event management and promotions agency:

 JOB TITLE:     Account Executive: Corporate Branding

EDUCATION:  Minimum Grade 12. Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous

EXPERIENCE: Have at least 2 years’ experience in Corporate Branding and/or Sales. Be in in possession of  a valid drivers liscne and own transport promotions

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Successfully coordinate and responsible to build sound relationships with different business sectors and  promote and grow the corporate branding department

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE

  • Sales presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Implementing account management systems (budgets, reports, etc.).
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationship with clients.
  • Ensure that the client database is established and grown
  • Generate innovative ideas to market certain products and campaigns
  • Source detailed quotations from suppliers within 24hours of receiving request
  • Process supplier payments
  • Updating supplier administration and management of all invoices/ quotes

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Ms Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • High level of Customer Service and adhere to timelines

JOB TITLE:     Brand Activation Specialist

EXPERIENCE: Have at least 2 years’ experience in events and/or promotions

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Successfully coordinate and execute promotions, recruit talented and competent promoters as well as market the company’s promotional services to prospective clients

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE

  • Market the promotions to prospective clients
  • Ensure successful execution of promotions
  • Recruit promoters for all promotions
  • Brief and train all promoters for each promotion
  • Identify all health and safety risks for promoters
  • Generate quotes for clients
  • General administration related to promotions

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in English
  • Be in possession of a Code B driver’s licence. Own transport essential.
  • Computer knowledge, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications
  • High levels of customer service
  • Excellent people and motivational skills and a strong teamwork ability
